Hi, this is Ricky and Joanne Graham with the G Team.
Joanne Graham:
Today, we’re going to talk about being in love and being in business together.
Ricky Graham:
I fell in love with Joanne at first sight.
Joanne Graham:
I thought he was pretty cute, except he had this Fu Manchu mustache, like that. And I’m like, “Eh, just get rid of that.” The day that he cut it off, I was like, “Now we’re talking.”
Ricky Graham:
We’ve been married 37 amazing years. And in 2004, Joanne got her real estate license. I got mine in 2006.
Joanne Graham:
I even gave him a book a long time before we even got into real estate together. And it was called, In Love & In Business. It was kind of just a dream, what if we did this? What if we could do this someday?
Ricky Graham:
Building a business together, it’s been a phenomenal ride. For us, there’s a blending between business and our lives. We share our strengths together and our service to the client. In any client relationship, understanding what’s important to the client, how to best serve them, is our first and primary concern. And then secondarily, how do we best do that as a couple?
Joanne Graham:
So there’s times when he takes on the client and I’m just giving advice or support, but then there’s other times when we are like this with the client together, making sure that all of what they need and all of the bases are covered. The other thing that’s really great is let’s say that I’m just busy with another client, to be able to say, “You know what? I can’t do it, but Ricky will meet you there at four o’clock,” is like, ah. Most agents have such trouble juggling the demands of their clients, and we have a double opportunity to be able to cover the bases.
Ricky Graham:
