A fun family event in the Roseburg area is the annual Festival Of Lights which features over a half million lights and 90 displays at River Forks Park! It’s the 29th year of the Festival Of Lights which has grown its name and recognition throughout Douglas County as one of the best holiday traditions.
River Forks Park is just a few miles west of Roseburg that coincides with the joining of the South Umpqua and North Umpqua Rivers.
The Festival of Lights is also home to the World’s Largest Nutcracker. The lighting display features animated characters from Disney’s Frozen and other local favorites.
Kerwin Doughton the founder of the event, recently passed away and to honor him there is a new display of his caricature.
