Here are some helpful tips for when you transition from military to civilian life.
- Be sure to take your DD214 to the county clerk’s office. They will file it in their system. That way you will always be able to get a certified copy in the future.
- Keep all your discharge papers, IE Medical Records, Awards, separation financial statements.
